He was 135 pounds heavier according to his BMI. He was able to lose 135 ponds at that time of his life (From The Daily Iberian).

When you look at Huey today, it is really hard to believe he was 135 heavier 14 years ago. Today he has the signs of a teenager and is stronger ever at the age of 72. Huey was a school bus driver and also owned two meat markets in New Iberia. He ate lot of meat at that time.

"I used to see that stuff (meat) clog up my sink. I had to call Roto Rooter to unclog my sink. And, I had to call the doctor to unclog my arteries," Robichaux said. He brings a great change in his diet by eating no meat at all and including more fruits and vegetables to his diet.

Huey has been spending five hours a day to exercise at a health club in New Iberia. Huey said this is much more harder than losing that much amount of pounds as you have to do it and maintain it everyday.
