Control intake of sugary drinks to lose weight

Latest research suggests that if a person reduces one soda or sugary drinks on daily basis then they can reduce more weight than reducing calories on food products. Sugar soft drinks include only sugar without any nutrients. One tin can of any soda drink includes around 140 calories. Dr. Liwei Chen, an assistant professor of epidemiology at the School of Public Health at the LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans states, "Weight loss from liquid calories is greater than loss of calorie intake from solid food”. This happens as our body can regulate intake of solid food itself. But for drinks our body can’t self regulate. When our body can’t fiddle with liquid calories our body gain more weight.

If you are looking for the simplest approach to lose extra fat from your body then keep a control on all beverages that contains sugar in it. In this way you will be able to lose more weight rapidly. Benjamin Caballero, M. D., Ph.D., of Johns Hopkins University describes that if you remove sugar-containing drinks from your usual diet for around six months then you would notice one pound of weight loss every month. This was published in the medical journal American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, owned by the American Society for Nutrition. Soft drinks are very beneficial for under weight people as it helps to gain weight. According to the new research the people who eliminated their drink calories lost more weight than the people who didn’t decrease their soft drinks calories.

Generally what happens when we drink sugar-containing drinks is that we think that it will fill our stomach but in fact it don’t makes us feel full and these drinks fill all the calories in our stomach. If you in take more fruit juice then also it may result in more weight gain. To lose extra weight you should select plain water, iced tea or coffee. You can keep a track on what all food items and soft drinks you intake and reduce them as per your body needs.

Dr. Liwei Chen observed that consuming liquid calories has augmented beside with the fatness epidemic. In previous studies, researchers established that around 75% of U.S. adults could be flabby or stout by the year 2015, and they attached drinking sugar-sweetened drinks to the plumpness epidemic. In the year 2006, the nation's major soft drink corporations decided to bind the sale of sodas in U.S. schools. The contract was brokered by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a joint effort of the American Heart Association and the President William J. Clinton Foundation.
