A new study and surprising one has found that the women are able to burn more calories playing football that doing workouts at the gym.
Leading sports scientist professor Don Maclaren found that rowing and cycling burns 543 calories an hour while playing football burns 683 calories in an hour. This is even 40 calories more than a cross-trainer.

If you are into sport there's nothing like it for weight loss. I guess the gym is designed for people who live in cities and don't have time to exercise.
